Are Your Beliefs Our Values Challenged To The Point Of Failure?Students who wrote a sample essay for college admission believe their beliefs or values were challenged to the point of failure. Sometimes the students write their acceptance letters because they feel they need to write such essays to prove that they are right in their belief systems or values and their values are worth the challenge.Being a successful college student requires a wide variety of different skills including critical thinking, writing, common sense, leadership, perseverance, persistence, ability to communicate, problem solving, organizational skills, and others. These are the skills that are needed to achieve success in any type of academic pursuit. Your college essay sample, if it is the correct one, will be a teaching tool and guide for students throughout their college career. Some students believe their belief systems and values are strong enough to withstand any criticism and challenge. They know that the ir beliefs and values have led them to success and a successful college experience.Others accept that they are wrong and accept the fact that their beliefs are not compatible with college success. The reasons that they accept the fact that they are wrong are mostly negative - 'There is no way I can do it'I am not good enough.' Or perhaps the reason they accept the fact that they are wrong is positive, 'College will change me and give me new life experiences.' These students accept that they are not right and accept the fact that they will not be accepted to college. It is important that the students who write their acceptance letters keep this in mind when writing the essays for the admissions process. While other students write about their mistakes and success stories, the acceptance letter for the wrong students will most likely be filled with critical analysis. Your beliefs or values were challenged; how will you respond?A very important part of writing your acceptance letter for college is to avoid telling yourself you are a failure. Rather, focus on your strengths and abilities. Once you realize that your beliefs and values were challenging, focus on areas of strength that you learned from and areas of strength that you developed yourself. Many times, strong students who are accepted into college are accepted because they took college acceptance seriously.
